Throughout the fall of 2005 and spring of 2006 a brand new clubhouse has been built and is truly amazing! It is very spacious with panoramic views from the large veranda/ deck. It has a large restaurant and lounge with banquet capabilities, as well as an expanded pro shop with all the best golfing equipment and attire. There is a drive-up window for meals for those making the turn to the back nine holes.
Anyone interested in planning a party or banquet can check out the Banquet Menu and call for reservations.

The 2008 season has brought about some staff changes. Jack Sodoma is the new Head Pro at LSCCC. Jack was a resident of Delaware prior to taking the Head Pro's position at LSCCC. He was assistant Golf Professional at Delaire Country Club from 1992-1998. From 1998-2002, Jack was First Assistant Golf Professional at Manchester Country Club in Manchester, Vermont. From 2002-2005, Jack was First Assistant at LuLu Country Club in Delaware. He then was offered the Head Golf Professional's position at Back Creek Course, Saint Annes Club, and was in that position from 2005-2006 until taking the Director of Golf position at Saint Annes Club. He was responsible for managing a 36 hold semi-private club, with a third course under construction. Jack was awarded the 2005 Golf Assistant of the year for the Philadelphia PGA Section. We look forward to a great year. Make sure to say hi and introduce yourself to Jack when you stop by the club!

Doug Pinsonneault is the new Greens Superintendent for LSCCC. Doug has grown up around the Mount Anthony Country Club, starting out working on the maintenance crew since 1990. He was made assistant Superintendent in 2002, and in 2005 was promoted to the Golf Course Superintendent there. Doug has certification in Turf management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sports Management. Some of Doug's hobbies are hunting, fishing, and golfing. When you see Doug on the course, be sure to say hi!

Jess Moore has been promoted to Restaurant Manager at LSCCC. After ending the year last year as assistant manager for the restaurant area, Jess has taken the position of the Restaurant Manager this year. Jess will be responsible for the food and beverage side of things on a daily basis, as well as being responsible for outside functions as well. Be sure to say hello to Jess and wish her well on her new position!

Joe DeCandia is also returning for 2008 and is planning a strong Junior Program with an 8 week program for Jr. Golfers. Read "Out of the Rough" by Joe DeCandia

On Friday the 13th of July, 2007, Mary hit a pitching wedge onthe 75 yard 3rd hole at Lake St. Catherine Country Club in Poultney right into the cup

Maureen Quinn gets "golfer of the week" awards for having 2 hole-in-ones within a 3 day stretch. Her first was on August 21, 2006 where she aced the 8th hole. Her second was on August 23, 2006 where she aced the 14th hole.
It is her fourth career ace!

Glenn Eno made a hole-in-one on the 16th hole on August 18, 2006.
He used a 7-iron for the 155 yard ace.

Se used a 6-iron for the 103 yard ace.

He used a 6-iron for the 145 yard ace.

Dan Turgeon aced the 151 yard 3rd hole on May 13, 2005. Dan's 7-iron shot was witnessed by Mitch Cole. It was his second career ace.
